Answer:   There are many web sites:

Native Eyewitnesses:

Question: Why don’t biology textbooks have anything

                  about living pterosaurs?

Answer:    Modern pterosaurs are cryptids, meaning that

they are not acknowledged in zoology, even

though they are known in cryptozoology.

Question: How does anyone know they exist?

Answer:   Eyewitnesses from a number of cultures give

                 testimonies of pterosaur sightings.

Question: Why are the sightings not in the news?

Answer:   The Western news media covers reports within

the context of Western culture, which includes

a deeply-held opinion that all dinosaurs and

                  pterosaurs became extinct long ago.

Question: Does anybody hunt for living pterosaurs?

Answer:  For many years, there have been expeditions

in Papua New Guinea, where many people

                 have reported the creatures.

Question: What kind of pterosaurs are living?

Answer:  Many reports include a description of a long

tail; some include a head appendage. This has

led some investigators to propose that there

                 are Rhamphorhynchoids still alive.

Question: Are there any photographs available?

Answer:  As of early February, 2008, the only images

available that are promoted by investigators

are video shots of distant lights without any

                features visible.

Question: How could pterosaurs have survived into

                  modern times?

Answer:   Most living-pterosaur investigators are Young-

Earth-Creationists, meaning they do not believe

that pterosaurs, or  any other life, lived millions

of years ago, so this question is answered in

a different way by those of different beliefs.

Question: Where do they live?

Answer: Many are reported in Papua New Guinea. They

have many names: ropen, indava, seklo-bali,

wawanar, duwas. There have also been some

reports of pterosaurs in the United States,

including Texas, Ohio, South Carolina, and

California. In Africa, there is a creature

                called by the natives “kongamato.”
